Hey guys, I recently installed XP Ultimate Edition on my HP Pavilion ze2000 laptop but I'm having some problems getting sound out of it.

I've tried to download the drivers direct from the HP website but I've had no luck.

Could anyone recommend anything to me?

may be related to the hd audio bus. have you tried the hd audio bus driver fix?
I think you can find it on the FAQ of the main site.
