Hello members of the XPU community.
I decided taking the time to put down a few thoughts that come to my mind almost every time I log and check XPU Forum.
It is almost sarcastic the manner that some newly registered members just "walk into this forum like they own it" .
Im not asking for a review of the posts, but simply for consideration to those that asks questions;
Saying please and thank you never hurt anybody; Furthermost it comes as a surprise to see foreigners be so rude on certain aspects of how people from this forum, specifically me considering the amount of posts I respond to, that I become a target of the frustrations people have with their computer systems whereas they have or not XPU installed, whether they care to know or not a solution or just argue with someone, including when they simply know know know hack hack hack and challenge your solution before even trying it.
I am in real life a computer repair technician who contributes freely and at will to the XPU community, don't get paid, know anyone or receive anything beyond personal satisfaction with a concept of "community".
Much like I do there are MODS in place to sustain the functionality and proper flow of this forum based on the rules posted by Johnny.
The mechanics of who is allowed to post what exactly, to me, seem rather outdated and when a NEW MEMBER can post malicious code SUSPECTING it to be of a destructive nature into one of the posts in our forum seem completely absurd and hard to believe. Therefore I would completely eliminate the ability to post NON HTML characters into the posts.
It has come to my attention certain vulnerabilities this forum contains and are in need of IMMEDIATE ATTENTION if keeping the forum running smoothly is one of the objectives of such.
For now, that's most of the thoughts that cross my mind when answering posts, or at times, searching for information and solutions for others.
